Hi! I’m Katie, and I love cooking for people!
Food has always been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, cooking and eating together as a family was a staple part of my every day. I remember learning how to cut things with a butter knife, standing on a chair so that I was high enough to reach the counter, and planting a garden every spring, waiting for the tomatoes to ripen so that I could pick them straight off of the vine and eat them then and there.
Eating, sourcing, growing, and learning all about food, it’s history, and how it truly connects us all, while simultaneously keeping us all individual and unique, keeps my food obsession alive and thriving.
In September of 2022, I started a job on the line in a local restaurant, after spending over ten years in the marketing field, conveniently avoiding working with food professionally. Naturally, it was a scary leap of faith, but I can never go back.
Out of creative necessity, and a bit of manic “New Year, New Me” energy, I decided to host my first Supper Club in January of this year (2023). These Supper Club’s are pieces of me in a few courses, over a short period of time, that I get to share with you all.
Our world is so fast-paced, and I want you to be able to come and eat with me and remember to slow down. I want you to enjoy the people and the atmosphere around you, and eat and drink from the local farmers, makers, and artisans in and around our area.
